Background

During the post-pandemic period, people get vaccinated, go back to the office to work, and learn to live with the virus. For shared office space, people change their seats every day but the concern of the virus still exists, therefore the concept of the beam was born, a light that can disinfect and provide a safer working environment for people.

The Problem

The current task lights in the company provide lights for reading. With the concern of viruses and bacteria in the working environment increasing, people are not willing to work in the office and leading to the sale of the light drop. To reduce the concern, a new project of developing the new task light starts.

To design a new task light that reduces the concern and increases the sale of the task light in the office by applying UV technology on the new task light.
